The Honors Distinguished Scholars Program represents the highest level of academic and leadership excellence at North Carolina A&T State University.

Through this unified initiative, students are considered for one of our premier full-ride awards— the Lewis and Elizabeth Dowdy, Cheatham-White and February One Scholarships. Each award honors a unique part of our institution and state legacy, but all are part of one cohesive and transformative scholar experience.

How It Works:
By submitting one application, eligible students will be considered for all full-ride scholarships offered through the Honors Distinguished Scholars Program based upon criteria for each scholarship.

Apply for admission to North Carolina A&T State University

Submit the Honors College application by the priority deadline for scholarship consideration

Applications will be reviewed by the Honors College selection committee

Selected finalists will be invited to Honors Weekend to interview with faculty, staff, and alumni
-
Scholarship offers will be extended to top candidates based on academic merit, leadership potential, and a holistic review
